Qdrant

Qdrant is an open-source vector database and similarity search engine written in Rust, designed for high performance and production reliability. It supports payload (metadata) filtering, multi-vector storage, quantization for reduced memory usage, and HNSW indexing for fast approximate nearest neighbor search. Qdrant offers a rich filtering query language, collection aliasing for zero-downtime updates, and horizontal scaling via sharding. It is available as a self-hosted Docker image or a managed cloud service and is popular in production RAG deployments.
